English Walnut Rocking Chairs $6,000In my opinion, English Walnut is about the most beautiful wood in the world and the finest furniture wood I have ever used. Please note the preface, "In my opinion", everyone is entitled to one and this is mine. English Walnut trees on the east coast are usually yard grown trees and are therefore full of knots, wind shake and some worms. It tends to be time consuming and tedious to work with. The extra effort is worth it in my view, however, the cost of the wood plus the additional time required does result in a higher price. My English Walnut chairs sell for $6,000. Here are some photos of some recent English Walnut chairs. I should note that no two English Walnut chairs look the same due to the character of wood I use, however the one thing they all have in common is that they are all beautiful.
