• Another Canadian, Ted Monk spent a week at Rocking Chair University. Ted created the site www.woodworkersguide.com where he shares much of his woodworking wisdom and experience. It is well worth the visit.

• Daniel Chernoff of New York spent about a week and a half with me a couple years ago making a beautiful rocking chair and has now completed his first "solo" rocker. He tells the entire story front to back on his blog.

• Ohio has some things going on in the rocking chair world with Laron Algren who kicked his dad out of the barn so he could use it for making things that rock. Check out his exquisite work.
