In order to make owning a beautiful rocking chair a little more affordable for you woodworkers out there I have instituted a new program. I call it "Bring Your Own Boards."

The way it works is this:

You bring your boards to my shop and we work together on YOUR chair for one week. At the end of that week we will have a great deal accomplished. The seat will be finished, the back and front legs shaped and glued to the seat, the headrest will be shaped and the backbraces and rockers will all be constructed. There will not be a lot left. At the end of the week you have two options. You can take your chair home and complete the assembly, sanding and finishing at home or we can continue on a daily basis for $400 per day.

In short, you can get as much done on your chair as you want before taking it home.

You can elect for me to purchase wood for you if you like. This will cost the price of the wood plus 150 dollars for my picking it up.

I work from nine in the morning until four pm Monday thru Friday.
